  It was a hot summer day and all the animals in the forest were feeling a bit grumpy and irritable. The heat was making them all sweat and they were having a hard time finding any shade to cool off in. But there was one animal who was not affected by the heat at all. His name was Chuckles the Chipmunk and he was always in a good mood, no matter what the weather was like. Chuckles was known throughout the forest as the happiest and most carefree animal around. So when the other animals saw Chuckles skipping through the forest with a big grin on his face, they couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous. "What's so funny, Chuckles?" asked one of the animals. "Oh, nothing really," Chuckles replied with a chuckle. "I was just thinking about a joke I heard yesterday and it's still making me laugh."  I t was a dark and stormy night, the kind of night that made you want to curl up in bed with a good book and a hot cup of tea. But I had to go out, I had to meet my friends at the old abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town. We had heard rumors about the mansion, about how it was haunted by the ghost of a young woman who had died there under mysterious circumstances. But we didn't believe in ghosts, at least not really. We were just a group of friends looking for a thrill, trying to scare each other with ghost stories and jump scares. So we gathered our courage and set out into the storm, our flashlights barely piercing the darkness as we made our way through the overgrown path leading to the mansion.
